Privacy

This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and loads no third-party scripts. Nothing on these pages is tracking you.

What is collected when you buy

Checkout happens on Ko-fi, not on this site. Nothing you type into a payment form ever touches this server — no card details, no address, nothing. Ko-fi and its payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) handle it, under their own privacy policies, and what reaches me afterwards is your name, your email address, and what you bought.

That email address is used for exactly one thing: replying if you write in for support or a refund. Ko-fi sends the download itself — I never need to mail you a file.

It is not added to a mailing list, because there isn't one. It is not sold, shared, or passed to anyone.

Server logs

The site is static files behind AWS CloudFront. Standard request logging applies at the infrastructure level (IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent) — the ordinary record any web server keeps. It is not analysed, joined to purchase records, or used to build a profile.

Where your data lives

Order records live with Ko-fi. Mail you send to support@ passes through AWS (us-east-1) and lands in the operator's inbox; the transient copy in S3 is deleted automatically after 14 days. Payment records are retained as long as tax rules require, which is a matter of years rather than months.

Asking for deletion

Email support@preparedground.com and your address is removed from everything except the payment records that have to be kept for accounting.
