About
PreparedGround started as a way to make researching rural property a little easier. I build Google Earth KML files that help visualize things like population, water availability, and other factors that can be useful when you're trying to figure out where you actually want to buy land.
There is a ton of information out there, but most of it is spread across different sites and maps. The idea with PreparedGround is to put useful data into Google Earth so you can look at it all in one place and hopefully rule out bad locations before spending a bunch of time researching individual properties.
